1 · Agreement and eligibility
Using Dr Jiva means accepting these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Smartlocal AI (“Smartlocal AI”, “Dr Jiva”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for your use of the Dr Jiva mobile application and related services. By creating an account, selecting Continue, or otherwise using Dr Jiva, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you manage information or medicines for another person, you confirm that you have their permission or other lawful authority to do so.
2 · Health and safety
Dr Jiva supports care—it does not replace medical advice
Dr Jiva helps organise medicine schedules, reminders, dose confirmations and health documents. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe medicine, verify that a medicine is suitable for you, or replace advice from a qualified doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional.
Always verify medicine names, doses, timing and duration with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay or change treatment because of information displayed by Dr Jiva. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Notifications may be delayed, silenced or prevented by device settings, battery restrictions, network conditions, operating-system behaviour or other technical causes. You remain responsible for taking medicines safely and on time; do not rely on Dr Jiva as your only reminder.
3 · Your account and responsibilities
Keep your information accurate and your device secure
- Provide accurate account, patient, medicine, address and order information and keep it up to date.
- Use only a mobile number and health information that you are authorised to use.
- Protect access to your phone and never share a one-time password, payment PIN or other security code.
- Review scanned or automatically extracted text before saving it; optical character recognition can make mistakes.
- Use Dr Jiva only for lawful, personal healthcare-management purposes.
Tell us promptly at support@smartlocalai.in if you believe your account or information has been accessed without permission.
4 · Service availability and changes
Features may change as Dr Jiva improves
We work to keep Dr Jiva accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent access. Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed for maintenance, safety, legal, business or technical reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change requires user action, where practicable.
You are responsible for a compatible device, internet access, operating-system updates and any carrier or data charges needed to use the service.
5 · Medicine orders
Orders depend on availability and lawful fulfilment
Product listings, prices and availability may change before an order is accepted. An order confirmation records your request; it does not guarantee that every item can be supplied. A pharmacy or fulfilment partner may contact you, request a valid prescription where required, substitute an item only with your approval, or cancel an item that cannot lawfully or safely be supplied.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and being available to receive and pay for cash-on-delivery orders. Any refund, replacement or cancellation will be handled according to applicable law and the circumstances of the order. Contact Support promptly if an order is incorrect, damaged or not delivered.
6 · Health records and user content
Your records remain yours
You retain ownership of prescriptions, reports, photographs, medicine details and other content you add. You give Smartlocal AI a limited permission to host, process, display, copy and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the features you choose.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, malicious, or that violates another person’s privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7 · Acceptable use
Protect users and the service
You must not misuse Dr Jiva, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or normal operation, introduce harmful code, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it, impersonate another person, or use Dr Jiva for fraud or unlawful medicine distribution.
Dr Jiva’s software, branding, interface and original content are owned by or licensed to Smartlocal AI and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of Dr Jiva intellectual property.
8 · Third-party services
Some features depend on service providers
Dr Jiva may use hosting, notifications, maps, device platforms, pharmacies, hospitals or delivery services supplied by third parties. Their availability and conduct may be governed by their own terms. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law but do not control independent third-party systems or services.
9 · Disclaimers and liability
Legal limits apply fairly
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dr Jiva is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that cannot reasonably be given for a mobile health-organisation tool. Smartlocal AI is not responsible for harm caused by ignoring professional medical advice, entering incorrect information, relying solely on a notification, unauthorised use of your device, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including applicable consumer-protection rights.
10 · Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using Dr Jiva at any time
You may uninstall the app or request deletion of your account through the deletion option in Dr Jiva or by contacting support@smartlocalai.in. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or maintain service security.
Account deletion and legally required retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Terms that by their nature should continue—including ownership, lawful limitations and dispute provisions—remain effective after you stop using the service.
11 · Governing law and changes
Indian law governs these terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction provided by law, disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
We may update these Terms when Dr Jiva’s features, providers or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continuing to use Dr Jiva after updated Terms take effect means accepting the updated Terms.
